A TIME FOR LOVE; A TIME FOR WAR?

There is a frequently-heard expression: "Sure, our country is collapsing because of its abandonment of God. He is in control and America is coming under His judgment. I'm not going to engage in the struggles that deter the rate of collapse, and thus the return of Christ."

Auto-justified abandonment of duty

That topic, auto-justification for one's neutrality and paralysis of action in the holocaust to the Christian faith and to our Christian-based American Constitutional Republic, when the most is demanded of Christians by our Creator. It is an infectious cancer which is an affront to God, a slap in His face. It denies the "seasons" which he spelled out in the Bible, and the duties in every season which he commands of men and women of faith. Those duties are detailed over and again throughout the Old and New Testaments.

A time of war?

To every thing there is a season, and a time to every purpose under the heaven: A time to be born, and a time to die; A time to plant, and a time to pluck up that which is planted; A time to kill, and a time to heal;... A time to weap, and a time to laugh;... A time to love, and a time to hate; A time of war, and a time of peace..... (Ecclesiastes 3:1-8).
