IS THE U.S. CONSTITUTION OUTDATED?
This follows our last blog essay U.S. CONSTITUTION: WHO LOVES IT? WHO HATES IT?
We concluded that our Constitution was founded in the sacred laws of the Old and New Testaments; that it was authored by Bible-believing men of God as the legal expression of the Declaration of Independence, which exalts individual freedom as an endowment from our Creator. Accordingly, the Constitution is a living instrument of civil government reflecting the unchanging, eternal, absolute nature of the"Author of liberty", Jesus Christ, Himself. Christ, the Son of God, is also known in the Bible as the "Truth." (John 14:6). Truth never changes. It is absolute and eternal.
Q: Does the Word, the Truth, the U.S. Constitution" become outdated? Heaven and earth shall pass away... but his truth endureth to all generations (Mat. 24:35; Ps 100:5).
Our last essay focused on the war to the death between the two principle factions: those who believe that freedom comes from obedience to it's Author Christ as reflected through the U.S. Constitution (God's law); and those who believe in government under the supremacy and rule of man based on an imagined fundamental "goodness" of man.
The rule of man through monarchies, oligarchies and dictatorships founded upon atheistic Marxism, Nazism, and countless ruthless freedom-extinguishing tyrannies, has dominated our earth for thousands of years, during which unbridled man demonstrated his fallen nature and irresistible compulsion to enslave his fellow man.
The Bible describes rule by man's law: Their feet are swift to shed blood: destruction and misery are in their ways; And the way of peace they have not known: There is no fear of God before their eyes. (Rom: 3:15-18).
Thus the history of the world under the rule of man's law is the history of a gigantic enslaving slaughter bench which has drenched the earth in the blood of countless millions of victims.
The secular humanist dog-eat-dog evolutionist must, as Thomas Jefferson declared, be "bound down by the chains of the Constitution" [with its system of checks and balances - Executive, Legislative, Judicial], that is, bound down from his natural tendency to enslave his fellow man.
As founder William Penn summarized it: "Those who will not be governed by God will be ruled by tyrants"; that is, government under the rule of God vs government under the rule of man.
IS the U.S. Constitution outdated? Inasmuch as it is founded upon the Bible, that is, upon the laws of liberty authored by Christ Himself, and his truth endureth to all generations, the Constitution is as fresh and applicable today as when it was authored by its Christian founders.
To become outdated is an impossibility!
The U.S. Constitution is the only counter-force which can withstand the relentless death-centered assaults of its (our) Marxist, humanist, atheist foe - fallen man.

The only 21st century path to freedom
Ye shall know the truth, and the truth shall make you free. (John 8:32)
NOTE: Regarding mixing the Bible ("religion") and politics: The fact is: the Bible ranks as the most comprehensive Book ever written about politics. The two are inseparable.
